Nespresso my love! Part 1 May 11, 2014

I admit it, I am a huge coffee lover and ever since I laid eyes on my brother’s Nespresso machine a few year ago and tried a delicious Arpeggio I wanted one. Last Christmas, my family bought it for me along with a variety of accessories and a selection of capsules. It has changed my habits of drinking coffee, I barely buy coffee from the shop (apart from when I am with friends) and I have also bought a flask to carry hot or cold coffee to work. I have a feeling that there will be a series of posts about Nespresso so let’s name this the first one. Here is my fist home-made cappuccino and an artistic shot of my espresso shot before adding milk to make it a latte.

The Market Company May 4, 2014

This is my favourite (by far) spot in the old town of Nicosia in Cyprus. Whenever I am back home I visit and spend hours at this place. It serves wine, amazing cocktails and extremely unusual and delicious dishes. It belongs to the cousin of my best fiend and this  is an additional reason why we always go there. Whether it is cold or hot, night or day, hungry or not hungry “Market” is the place to be.

Earl grey or what? January 26, 2010

This is not food but I think it falls in the category!! It’s tea, earl grey to be more precise. I am a huge fan of coffee, with milk always that is. I ordered earl grey though because I was fasting (it was before Christmas), still in Cyprus!! I was really amazed by the cup and how the tea bag was placed inside it while the water was steaming hot below in a transparent tea-pot.
